Augusta Communities, an Upland based non-profit owner of manufactured housing communities, awarded thirteen scholarships to their residents for the upcoming academic term. Each applicant who was enrolled full-time at their university was awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and prorated scholarships were given to part-time students. Any resident of Augusta Communities’ parks who is enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational school is eligible for this scholarship.
The scholarship recipients included Gabrielle Lawrence, Rachelle Kaikainahaole, Katleen Saldarriaga-Ferro, Uyen My Tran, Ashley Diaz, Jillian Santiago, Vanessa Garcia, Monica Fonseca-Vega, Manuel Arias, Christian Ramos, Alexis Peterson, Brianna Thomas, and Troy Shair.
