In 2019, Augusta Communities partnered with Little Free Library to add libraries to two of their communities: Monterey Manor and Hacienda. These two libraries were customized with help from each community's Homework Club. Students artfully painted tiles that were later affixed to the back of the library in order to give each of these "Take a Book, Leave a Book" systems their own personal touch. The libraries were installed in each community and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event by the honorable Montclair City Councilmember, Bill Ruh.
A year later, after seeing the success of the original two Little Free Libraries, Augusta Communities decided to add libraries to all of their communities. Now all residents have the opportunity to participate in a community-wide book exchange!
